Wish there were a ZERO star rating

In my opinion, 1 star for an app that has zero functionality as advertised and wastes my time downloading it while making me think that somehow, I WAS TO BLAME for its errors, is too high. Wish there were a zero star rating. The silver lining to this unacceptable type of mistake from a worldwide corporation such as LG is that one day the app just MAY work. The headset thus far is what I expected given my previous ownership of 2 other LG models. Therefore, this is more a really POOR EXAMPLE of how to take care of your customers and your reputation should be tarnished. As a company, you cannot be considered in the same league as a manufacturer who takes quality control seriously and is 1000% certain that what it publishes in its manuals, instruction booklets, and advertising material is actually accurate at the point of distribution to the public. Having just vented and ranted a bit (as nearly 200 others have as well) it is true that my HEADSET is the best my money could buy. I will simply check back periodically to see if the cherry on top ever comes about.....and I might think twice before purchasing other LG electronics, appliances, or merchandise since trust to me is very important when considering any purchase from a vendor.

Not compatible either

Bought a LG Tone Ultra and one of the "features" is that it works with the Tone & Talk app. It even has the product name in the app name! Go to open the app, says my headset isn't compatible. Huh? Talked to customer service and they said 'some of the features may not be available on Apple devices' which I responded with the fact that it doesn't even connect, let alone have some features not work as it won't even talk to it. Fix this LG! You're better than this! There are plenty of headsets out there that work better than these and have apps that actually work rather than false advertisement. Bought this headset thinking I'd get more features with the app, but instead I'll be returning it and getting something else. Listen to all of us, fix your app and fix your thinking that it's just a small issue that doesn't deserve any attention. We're stuck with those small issues and we deserve to have a working product as advertised.

LIFES GOOD? More like OK

Nothing I hate more than an empty promise by a corporation. Deciding factor for the headphones I purchased was that LG appeared to have added some functionality since the last set of tones I owned a few years back. Those were great but after they died I went with beats and they recently died. Anyway, I decided I'd give these new tone pros a shot since they seemed even better. Get them out and realize to use some of the functionality you need to download an app according the manual. "That's fine." Download the app. "The device that's trying to connect isn't supported". What? How does your manual day use this app? And how does your packaging suggest that there are these features but then there isn't. I am assuming they are adding functionality as they go but that is a bad move as a company. As a tech company you can't release stuff that halfway works. Are we back in the days of charge before use or something crazy? Get your crap together LG.
